Just now we have had our final lunch with Avinash who had been our trainer for the last three months. He took us naturally to an Indian restaurant where it’s actually my first time to eat at. It was a buffet styled Indian restaurant so naturally I took a plate and got everything that catches my attention. Well it was about the 2nd plate that they told me to not get everything and that to eat the curry with the Nan (a type of bread they served at the middle of our first plate).
I really liked one particular desert which reminded me of buko pandan (but without the buko and pandan). It is mainly made of rice, tapioca and some thin wheat strands in coconut milk which is sweetened.

Great Wall Buffet
As the Year 2009 approaches I guess its about time for me to take pictures of the memorable places I’ve been here in Dallas. Particularly the places we tend to spend time… eating.
Here’s the restaurant at the top of our list: Great Wall (its our default place to eat, apart from our apartments of course)
Prize: around 7 dollars during lunchtime and 10 at supper.
Opinion: Faster than fast food (due to buffet setup); relatively cheap because of the not so cheap menu they have; Taste is ok so long as you don’t eat the same thing over and over; Great ambience; Great fortune cookies.

Testing Out SD770 IS
Finally after almost three months of living here in Dallas, I decided to buy a real camera (I have a fake one that is built in my phone which I should only be using for emergency purposes.) I’ve tested it out and it really is way better in all aspects. Obviously I should be posting some photos taken from it (which includes me, ofcourse. hehe)
